Registration is open!The Great Lakes Coastal Assembly is pleased to announce that registration for the 2026 Great Lakes Coastal Symposium is now open. This year's Symposium will take place October 26–28, 2026, in Huron, OH, at the Sawmill Creek Resort.
The full conference program is now available, featuring sessions, speakers, and activities focused on coastal resilience and Great Lakes conservation. Be sure to check out this year's field trips, offering hands-on opportunities to explore the region's coastal habitats, and the stewardship event, where participants can get directly involved in habitat restoration work supporting Erie MetroParks' new "window on wildlife" education space. Please note: A few conference program items require pre-registration to attend, though there is no additional fee to participate. These include the Bird Walks, Stewardship Event, and Field Trips.
